Ecotoxicology

Daniel is an Ecotoxicologist with over 11 years’ experience working on regulatory ecotoxicology studies within GLP-compliant laboratories.

He has experience as a study director for aquatic acute and chronic tests to OECD, EPA and ISO guidelines with study types including algae, invertebrates (e.g. Daphnia, Chironomus), higher plants (e.g. Lemna) and fish studies as well as development of bespoke tests to meet specific regulatory requirements.

Alongside an eye for detail when it comes to planning and reporting, Daniel has a great deal of practical experience in the laboratory including the setup of static and flow-through study designs, working with difficult, insoluble or radiolabelled test substances and knowledge of culturing techniques for a wide variety of common test species.
