As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years' project management or project coordination experience who is looking to develop their career.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organising projects, building relationships and keeping things on track. They will be equally happy right in the detail of a problem but know when it’s time to step back and look at the big picture. You'll support the successful delivery of client projects by coordinating timelines, resources and communication between clients and our technical teams.
You'll work alongside experienced colleagues who will support your development, making this a fantastic opportunity to build your project management career within a growing CRO.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate multiple client projects from initiation through to completion.
Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring clear communication.
Support project planning, scheduling and resource coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Maintain project plans and accurately update project management systems.
Monitor project progress, escalating risks or issues where appropriate.
Work closely with Study Directors, laboratory teams and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Assist with project reporting, documentation and client deliverables.
Support revenue forecasting and project tracking by maintaining accurate project information.
Undertake other duties as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and eager to develop their project management career.
You'll have:
Around 1–2 years' experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Management or similar role.
Previous experience within a scientific environment, ideally a CRO, life sciences or laboratory setting.
A self-motivated, team player attitude with excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail.
A science-related degree (such as Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or similar) or equivalent industry experience.
Strong communication skills and confidence working with both clients and internal teams.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
